What you should know about the 2018 GRESB fees

GRESB fees for non-member submissions set to begin in 2018

GRESB recently announced their plan to introduce a flat participation fee in 2018 for non-GRESB members that disclose their portfolio sustainability performance data to the GRESB Real Estate Assessment. The new GRESB fees will only affect non-members; GRESB members will not have to pay the new fee, and will only continue to pay the annual dues that come with member status.

The fee will be $4,100 USD (or $3,500 EUR) per entity submitted to the 2018 GRESB Real Estate Assessment. The fee also covers access to guidance materials, helpdesk support, GRESB’s validation process, and detailed analysis of the Benchmark Report.

If you haven’t become a GRESB member yet, now is a great time to do it; you’ll be in good company. Not only will you avoid paying the new fee for every entity you submit, you’ll also gain access to GRESB’s entire array of powerful analytics and data validation tools, which are invaluable for optimizing your disclosure process and maximizing your results.
