Overview

The ESG Manager will report to the Senior Director. This position will be responsible for assisting the Senior Director with managing the business line of ESG for CRE services for Goby with regards to driving profitability with very high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a customer relationship at the executive/stakeholder level for 10+ accounts
  • Manage a team of 6-10 associates, including consultants, data analysts, and solutions architects
  • Accountable for account and team health, and ultimate success and retention of the customer
  • Provide program management and strategic planning for customers as required per contractual agreement
  • Understand each customer’s contracted scope and company’s ESG goals; identify upsell opportunities
  • Manage contract requirements and customer expectations
  • Assign projects to team members based on workload and skill set
  • Identify any core competency deficiencies in staff and rectify through training or hiring
  • Knowledge and comfort with ESG concepts and trends
  • Can deliver on portfolio-level strategic and planning deliverables
  • Work with Director and above on department and company-wide initiatives including upskilling and platform enhancements
  • Coach team members through career growth paths

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role and leading a team of at least 4-5 people
  • Expert in project management and how to reduce risk along critical path
  • Foundational knowledge of GRESB, Energy Star, CDP, GRI, DJSI, SASB, and TCFD Frameworks (preferred, but not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience assessing GHG Inventories (real estate experience is a plus)
  • Experience using Salesforce.com (preferred, but not required)
