Goby is seeking a self-motivated, methodical, and goal-driven Solutions Development Representative. Goby provides an intelligent, comprehensive, and intuitive platform for ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management. We help organizations develop and implement ESG initiatives that provide an imperative to attract and retain capital, accelerate sustainable and responsible growth, and mitigate enterprise risk.

Overview

The Solutions Development Representative reports to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for researching warm leads, targeting and engaging with key decision-makers, working with Goby’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM), supporting Account Executives, implementing best practices in sequencing language, and attending events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own top of the funnel by engaging a variety of marketing-generated inbound leads and cold outbound prospects to generate interest in Goby
  • Identify opportunities within current book of business
  • Personalize outreach to companies to generate leads, and use the tools provided in the sales and marketing tech stack
  • Maintain healthy database of accounts and contacts with up-to-date activity on Goby's CRM (HubSpot)
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1-3 years of full-time work experience in a sales, account management, or a customer support role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to prospective clients via written communication
  • ESG knowledge (preferred, but not required)
  • Desire to build a career in SaaS sales
  • Not afraid of making phone calls

Compensation

  • Base salary plus commission
